Rope clutch

I have 2 double rope clutches , old stile  that use plastic lock down handles, one broke last fall
You cannot buy them anymore so I went and made 4 of them out of hardwood today  cut on a band saw and belt sanded  It works just fine  and dont look bad either, I almost lost a small stailess steel retainer clip, tha would have been bad and NOT REPLACEABLE  I found it jammed under the lockdown plate

I also cleaned and waxed the waterline   It was cold and windy. The lake water is very high, almost to the clubhouse.

2011 Season

The boat is uncovered, it got an oil change , the engine is running. We have fresh bottom paint
I also put on the new curtain rods that i bought 2 years ago they came out of a Catalina.
The clips and attachments came from sailright

That all so far unless I sell the other boat and get more working capital
Short on funds but not wind so things will float and move.
